The Product

DERMA E didn’t start out in the beauty aisle or the boardroom. Instead, we began in a small health food store in Southern California. Our first product was a jar of Vitamin E 12,000 I.U. Moisturizing Cream. People were amazed at the results it had on their skin and word caught on.

Since 1984, our passion for health, wellness and environmental sustainability has grown strong. We have high ethical standards and never compromise on skin health and safety. Our 100% vegan, cruelty-free formulas do not contain parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial colors, gluten, soy or GMOs.

We use nano-particle-free, chemical-free broad spectrum Zinc Oxide, tested and proven to be reef safe.

The Review

The product that I have tried from this company I actually grabbed on clearance at Whole Foods. I took a look at the ingredient list and I was sold. I was looking for something without parabens, sulfates, gmo's, and that was cruelty free. This one gave me so many more 'frees'. 

It does contain: green tea, charcoal, marine algae extracts, and aloe leaf extracts.

The packaging is also recyclable and they offset 100% of conventional electricity use with wind energy certificates.

I have oily/combination skin and I always run into the problem of "oily skin" products drying out my face or making my oil problem way worse. I love this stuff. It doesn't over dry my skin. My face can also be sensitive so this is nice and doesn't make me break out or turn red. It doesn't have any exfoliants in it so its a great daily use. I typically wash my face with this in the am and then use moisturizer before applying my makeup. I cannot recommend this company enough. I love this. Plus, it doesn't have a gross chemical smell.
