Healthy, Filling, Non-Boring Snacks
I've compiled a list of some of my favorite healthy snacks from around the internet. Some of these I tweak personally but it's been hard for me to find a single and diverse list for healthy snacks. Look no further. SNACKS INCOMING.

Apples & Peanut butter
1 apple
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
Sprinkle with cinnamon & or nutmeg.
Calories: 174, 8g fat, 25g carbs, 17g sugar, 4g protein.
The All American Snack Box
8 small whole wheat crackers
4 oz. low-sodium sliced turkey
1 oz. jack cheese
1 cup carrots and celery

Easy Roast beef Pinwheels Snack Box
1/4 cup goat cheese
4 oz. sliced roast beef
1/2cup spinach rolled up in 1 6-inch whole wheat tortilla and sliced into pinwheels
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
1 kiwi (or plum, or small tangerine)
Chips & Dips Snack Box
(yes it's a variation of the tex mex)
1/2 cup baked corn tortilla chips
(or these homemade tortilla chips made from 2 corn tortillas)
1/4 cup guacamole
1/4 cup pico de gallo
3/4 cup bell pepper sticks
1/2 cup pineapple cubes
Sweet Tooth Snack Box
1 cup raspberries (or blueberries)
4 chocolate or plain Graham crackers(1 sheet)
1 Tbsp. cacao nibs mixed with
2 Tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes.
Banana & Peanut butter Oatmeal
(this one can double as breakfast)
1/2 cup of oatmeal (cooked according to package)
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1/2 a banana sliced
sprinkle cinnamon (optional)
300 calories, 10g fat, 45g carbs, 12g sugar, 9g protein.
Skinny Berry Parfait
Ingredients
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup almonds with skins, sliced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons unrefined coconut oil
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup fresh blackberries
2 cups raspberry yogurt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine oats, almonds and cinnamon. Stir in melted coconut oil to combine with other ingredients. Line a cookie sheet with parchment, spread oats evenly and bake approximately 20 minutes or until golden. Stir after 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
You'll likely have leftover granola. This granola is a wonderful snack or topping. Try adding rasins or other dried fruit without added sweeteners.
Alternate yogurt, granola and berries in parfait glasses.
Choose other berries if you prefer.

Baked Apple Chips
Ingredients:
2 apples, cored and thinly sliced
Cinnamon to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place the pieces of sliced apple on top.
Sprinkle with cinnamon (to taste).
Bake at 275 degrees for two hours. After 60 minutes, turn them over so they bake evenly. You should check on them after 60 minutes and every 30 minutes after that because oven cook times vary and you donāt want to burn them. Once they look nice and crispy remove them from the oven and allow to cool.

Frozen Yogurt Covered Blueberries
Ingredients:
1 (6oz) Container of fresh blueberries
1 (6oz) container nonfat blueberry Greek yogurt. NOTE: I have also used honey, vanilla and strawberry.

Directions:
1. Start by washing your blueberries and lining a small baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
2. Using a toothpick, dip each blueberry into the Greek yogurt and swirl until the blueberry is nicely coated with yogurt. Place on baking sheet. Continue this until all blueberries are coated.
3. Place baking sheet into freezer, and let freeze for at least an hour. After about an hour, your Frozen Yogurt Covered Blueberries can be placed in a ziplock baggie and stored in the freezer. Take out what you need for snack time and enjoy

Instructions: combine yogurt, buttermilk, and seasoning blend in a small bowl; mix well. (this makes 5 servings, 35 calories each serving)
Baked Corn Tortilla Chips (made from 2 corn tortillas and 1 tsp. olive oil)
