Dropps Laundry Detergent Review

Good morning New York(and everywhere else)! For those of you that are new here, hello *waves*! And those of you who are a bit more familiar with this blog/Facebook page I'm on a mission to become a more healthy individual & help our environment in any way that I can! I go out of my way to learn everything I can & share it with the world in hopes I might influence you all to do the same! Small steps! So laundry soap, we can make our own, of course, and I will share a recipe if you wish to take that endeavor on, but for those of us with less ambition and free time, I found a quick solution! P.S. They deliver to your house!
I saw this advertisement on Facebook & decided to check it out!

The Claim:

So healthy you can bathe in it! Now that's a claim to end all claims. But it got me thinking. Would you really bathe in your current laundry detergent? I'm going to make a wild assumption that you would say no. I got some but let's back track a bit.

Their Mission:

I grabbed a bunch of stuff from their page because it was so beautifully set up and looks a lot nicer than just a bunch of text. On top of all of this information when you click on their mission statement, they also share companies that share their mission: they have everything from beeswax wraps, toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper etc. Plus they also have a blog with various eco friendly things to learn! :) I really loved that! SO you can see why I had to try it right?

The Ingredients:

I'm lazy, I love a pod/pac. You just toss it in and go. These are what the pods look like. Oh, and I didn't see this when I was researching, but I'll show you my box here in a bit, they come with a tiny pack/bag that you can put them in if you do a cold wash. I'm assuming it's because they don't fully break down in cold water so you don't have little pieces of the pac sticking to your clothes. One pac can do 25 pounds of clothing!

EPA 2017 SAFER CHOICE PARTNER OF THE YEAR

Dropps was awarded the 2017 EPA Safer Choice Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for outstanding achievement in formulation and product manufacturing of both consumer and institutional/industrial products.
To qualify for the Safer Choice label, a product must meet EPA’s Safer Choice Standard, which includes stringent human and environmental health criteria. The Safer Choice program currently has about 500 formulator-manufacturer partners who make more than 2,000 products for both retail and institutional customers.
Our company has been a leader in the environmentally oriented laundry detergent business since 2008 when our laundry detergent pacs first received EPA Safer Choice (formerly Design for the Environment) certification.

INGREDIENT DISCLOSURE

We believe that consumers have a right to know what's in the products that they buy and use around their home and families.

The new law requires manufacturers of cleaning products to disclose certain chemical ingredients on the product label and on the manufacturer’s website. The online disclosure requirements apply to a designated product sold in California on or after January 1, 2020.

The Review:

I got my box in the mail this last week before we did any laundry but I just started using them. I have to say I'm very impressed. It's a light scent, but the clothes are nice and clean and feel great! I have one sweater that accidentally got tossed in with a red article of clothing and got dyed a little pink, and now it's looking less pink. Who knows, maybe it will be white again. (one can dream right?)I approve this item for sure! Follow my link! They have a referral program which scores you some points! And you can use them to get discounts off your orders!
